Wearable Thermoelectric Power Systems
Used a 3.3V integrated circuit voltage regulator to charge and discharge capacitors, demonstrating the ability of low-power energy harvesters to act as power supplies; presented findings as a research poster. Took the lead role in printed circuit board fabrication. Currently researching wearable thermoelectric-powered electrocardiographs for use in medical environments.
Published as: "Utilization of Commercial Peltier Thermoelectric Generators for Continuous Wearable Device Use," Oxford Journal of Student Scholarship, Jun 2026. Tested commercial-grade Peltier TEGs for on-body temperature differentials, finding no significant effect from adding more TEGs in series but a significant improvement from adding heat sinks.
